Third workshop: Communicating with Impact

Do you come away from meetings not saying what you intended or feeling as though your viewpoint is misunderstood? Do you listen to what other team members say? How do you respond? Communication is key to effective partnerships. Learn to recognize the barriers in communication that can get in the way of collaboration and positive outcomes. Strengthen your advocacy skills by learning effective and collaborative communication strategies.

Join us for one or all of the sessions! Topics and dates are -

  • Understanding Challenging Behaviors, held July 26 from 12:00-1:30pm
  • Taking Care of Yourself, held August 9 from 9:00am-12:00pm
  • Communicating with Impact, held August 16 from 10:00am-12:00pm
  • Portfolio, held August 26 from 10:00am-12:00pm


Registration is required. This series is FREE to family members of children who have disabilities or suspected disabilities.
