How Social Communication Disorder may impact your child with Tourette or other neurological disorders

There are subtle yet significant differences between Social Skills Deficits and Social Communication Disorder, a common disorder for students who have Tourette, ADD, sensory processing delays, and executive function difficulties. This may also impact students diagnosed with high functioning autism and Asperger's. Our presenters will share how each is diagnosed and the differences between the two. Participants will gain the knowledge and resources needed to support the development of an appropriate intervention plan for their children.

Presenter: Pamela Malley, MA, CCC-SLP Speech-Language Pathologist, Member Tourette Association of America Education Advisory Board
