This training will provide participants with information on the three essential considerations for students with disabilities to achieve successful transition and career development: The Child – Today, in the Future and How will the Child get there?

The training aims to ensure that parents, family members and students can work with their CSE to collaboratively:

  • assess their child's strengths, interests, and needs
  • establish measurable post-secondary goals and annual goals
  • identify appropriate transition services and coordinated activities

In addition the training provides information on community agencies that can provide support needed to help children achieve short and long-term goals in life.

Registration is required. This series is FREE to family members of children who have disabilities or suspected disabilities.
