Is there a difference between general discipline procedures and discipline procedures for students who have disabilities? Children who have disabilities have specific rights under state and federal laws when it comes to suspensions and school discipline. Patrick McNelis will examine Part 201 of the Procedural Safeguards for Students with Disabilities Subject to Discipline, as well as suspension, disciplinary changes in places, and detention.
