Hello Friends,

Happy Thanksgiving!

This time of year causes me to think about what I am grateful for. First is our partnership with the individuals and families we serve. It is a sacred relationship and is our reason for being as a service provider.

Daily I am reminded of the commitment, passion and caring of our employees and our Board of Directors. Our supporters round out my circle of gratitude. Together, we make a difference for our neighbors, families and friends.

Dyslexia: What It Is and How to Help

Kelli Sandman-Hurley, Ed.D. and Tracy Block-Zaretsky from the Dyslexia Training Institute join us to demystify dyslexia and discuss how we can support children to succeed in school.

We’re offering a free workshop for families the evening before: Understanding Dyslexia.

I hope you will be able to join us at one of these events, or will invite colleagues, friends, or family to attend.

This is also the time of year when we ask you to consider making a gift to Starbridge.

Your support creates a positive impact on the lives of thousands of people who have disabilities and their families. Your gift – of any size – will be greatly appreciated.

You can go directly to PayPal (account not required) to donate today. Thank you in advance for your support!

We’re also participating in ROC The Day, the annual day of online giving led by the United Way of Greater Rochester. Held this year on November 27th, you can give to one or many organizations that day, and we hope Starbridge will be one of your giving choices.
