Understanding Challenging Behaviors in Young Children: Part 2

February 28, 2019 7:00 pm until 8:00 pm
Categories: Webinar

For families of and professionals who work with children ages 3 to 6

When you are tired, frustrated, scared or overwhelmed, how do you let someone know? Young children often don’t have the vocabulary or self-awareness to express their needs. Their behavior is their way to communicate with the adults in their lives. So what can adults do to support children with challenging behaviors and hopefully prevent or decrease behaviors in the future?

Join us for a two-part webinar to look at:

  • Factors that influence young children's behavior
  • What differentiates typical from challenging behavior
  • What adults can do to prevent challenging behaviors
  • Factors adults should consider in responding to challenging behaviors
  • Strategies to promote positive behaviors – at home and at school

Starbridge is pleased to partner with Jennifer Rymanowski, PhD, BCBA-D, Midwest Regional Special Education Technical Assistance and Support Center.

This webinar will not be broadcast in our office. To participate, you must have access to a computer at another location – your home, office, or other facility.

Part 1 will be held February 13, 7:00-8:00pm.
