Effective communication between families and school: What school districts wish families knew and vice versa

Participants will learn time-tested strategies to promote consensus, creativity and collaboration in Committee on Special Education (CSE) meetings and IEP-related services planning. Participants will take home ideas to prepare for school meetings and will learn how to best work through problems.

Conversation will be facilitated by Chuck Allan, Education Liaison, Monroe County Office of Mental Health

This event is FREE to professionals and families who have a child with a disability.
