Special Needs Trusts (SNTs) help ensure that individuals can maintain eligibility for important public benefits while still having access to additional resources that improve quality of life—such as housing options\, staffing supports\, services\, activities\, and personal needs. This session will help parents\, caregivers\, and professionals understand how SNTs work and how they can create financial security and choice for the future. \n\n\n\nParticipants will learn about the different types of Special Needs Trusts\, including 1st Party (self-settled) trusts\, 3rd Party trusts\, and Pooled Trusts managed by nonprofit organizations.
