SUMMARY:STEPS2: Socialization To Enrich Participation and Support Sexuality for Young People with IDD
DESCRIPTION:In the US\, adolescents and young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) are less likely to receive comprehensive sex education and to use reproductive health services than their nondisabled peers. Young adults with IDD are also less likely to know about healthy habits including nutrition and physical activity. In STEPS2\, funded by a grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH)\, young adults with IDD have an opportunity to learn about one of these topics.  This presentation will provide an overview of the STEPS2 health education intervention and how to get involved.   \n\n\n\n\nRegister Now
