Kids don’t wake up and say, “I hope I get into a fight with my family or get in trouble at school.”

If they are displaying challenging behaviors, they need us to shift from ASSUMING and REACTING to UNDERSTANDING and HELPING.

Starbridge presents:

Managing Meltdowns: Strategies to Support You and Your Child

A series for families of children with developmental disabilities in Allegany and Cattaraugus Counties

A meltdown happens when someone loses control over their behavior. Whether it’s our own child or someone else’s, we may find ourselves getting frustrated or overwhelmed – and, in turn, we might struggle to manage our own responses.
