Understanding Tourette Syndrome and Related Neurological Conditions

April 20, 2021 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm
Categories: Webinar

What is Tourette Syndrome? How do you know if your child has it? What other neurological conditions might accompany Tourette?

Tourette Syndrome (TS) is a neurodevelopmental disorder that affects people of all ages, races, ethnicities, and genders. While it may become evident in early childhood or adolescence, it is a lifelong condition. TS is often undiagnosed or misdiagnosed, especially in communities that have been historically underserved or marginalized – whether based on income, race, or access to healthcare (urban and rural).

As more people understand TS and how to manage it or support someone who has it, together we can enhance the quality of life for all people with TS.

Join nationally recognized expert and advocate Kathy Giordano to learn more. We’ll discuss how to get your child assessed and how to support them at home and in school.
