Does your child have difficulty with:
- managing their time,
- following multiple-step directions,
- completing assignments independently, or
- developing a plan to accomplish a goal?
If you answered “yes” to any of these, your child may need support in developing their executive functioning skills. Executive functions are “a set of processes that all have to do with managing oneself and one’s resources to achieve a goal.” Children need strong executive functioning to manage the complexities of school, peer interaction, and life outside of school.
Starbridge presents a webinar with Darcy Bernitt and Carrie Titlow from the Palmyra-Macedon School District. Darcy and Carrie provide multiple concrete strategies that families and educators can use to support children who have challenges with executive functioning.
