Fostering vocabulary development helps children with the acquisition of language. Language acquisition supports literacy skills as young children grow and develop. Participants will come away from this session with ways to incorporate language and vocabulary instruction in the home to support their children in the early and elementary grades. Presented by the Mid-West Family and Community Engagement Center.
