Starbridge’s Decades on the Dancefloor brought music, celebration, and community together for an unforgettable evening on October 21, 2026, at Comedy @ the Carlson in Rochester!
The event, featured by 13WHAM News, welcomed guests for a night of dinner, a silent disco, a silent auction, and recognition of individuals and organizations making a meaningful difference in the lives of people with disabilities.
A highlight of the evening was the presentation of Starbridge’s 2026 Community Champion Awards, honoring six individuals and organizations whose leadership, advocacy, and dedication are helping create more inclusive communities.

This year’s honorees included Aubrey Marrero, Dr. Whitney Rapp, Wendy Arnold, Juliana Vasquez-Colindres, Sheryl Williams, and Mike Taccone of Somerset Patio and Concrete.
In 13WHAM’s coverage, Starbridge Vice President of Communications Kristen Lopez emphasized the importance of empowering people with disabilities to define success for themselves.
“One thing we do at Starbridge, we allow them to define what a fulfilling life is on their terms,” Lopez shared. “We can provide supports to move that forward for them.”
Beyond the music and celebration, Decades on the Dancefloor highlighted the power of community partnerships and the importance of creating opportunities where everyone can participate, contribute, and thrive.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to our sponsors, donors, attendees, volunteers, and community partners who helped make this special evening possible. Your support helps Starbridge continue transforming communities to include everyone.
